WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (7/9/2017) A 30-year-old man was wounded in the leg in a shooting in the 1300 block of Cedar St., Wilmington police said.
A Shot Spotter gunfire detection alert at 10:39 p.m. Thursday send police to the 800 block of Maryland Ave., where they were directed to the shooting scene.
The victim, wounded in his right lower leg, was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital in stable condition.
Police said a male wearing dark clothing who fled the area on foot is a possible suspect.
