UPDATED STORY: Police identify homicide victim
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (6/7/2016) Wilmington police are investigating a homicide off Northeast Boulevard in the city’s Riverside area, according to reports from the scene.
The shooting happened about 8:30 a.m. in the first block of Jensen Drive.
New Castle County paramedics performed CPR on the 30-year-old man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was rushed by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
Detectives at the scene later confirmed the man had died.
