
NEWARK, DELAWARE (12/12/2015) Newark police are investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old city man missing for nearly three weeks.
Jose Domingo Yanez Cruz went to bed Nov. 22 at his Madison Drive home, and when his roommates got up the next morning Cruz was not there and has not been heard from since.
Police said Cruz is a citizen of Honduras but has been in the United States about three years.
Cruz works at a restaurant on Main Street and is known for being very reliable, Lt. Bill Hargrove said Friday.
“Cruz has many friends and family members in the area who all say he would not simply walk away from his life. He is a very positive young man who had plans to spend Thanksgiving with his family,” Hargrove said.
Cruz has brown hair and eyes, is 5-feet-6 and weighs 150 pounds.
