GLASGOW, DELAWARE (11/2/2015) An 18-year-old man was injured when his vehicle struck a utility pole in Bear early Sunday, authorities said.
The crash happened about 4:20 a.m. at Sunset Lake Road (Route 72) and Broadleaf Drive.
Sgt. Michael A. McColley of New Castle County paramedics said the man was treated at the scene for facial and hand injuries as well as possible internal injuries.
He was taken by Christiana Fire Company ambulance to Christiana Hospital in stable condition, McColley said.
Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
