DOVER, DELAWARE (10/2/2015) A 34-year-old man died of a gunshot wound early today and the death has been ruled a homicide, Dover police said.
The shooting happened in the 400 block of Barrister Place.
The victim, later identified as Thomas Deputy, was found inside a vehicle and had been shot once in his upper body, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
Police and emergency medical services attempted to revive Deputy but he was later pronounced dead.
Hoffman said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 302-736-7111.
