WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/7/2018) A 35-year-old man shot to death in a car in Wilmington this morning has been identified, city police said.
Police responded at 7:22 a.m. in the 700 block of E. Fifth St. and found the man, Khalif Friend of Newark, slumped over the steering wheel of a car struck by gunfire.
Officers provided aid but he was pronounced dead at the scene by New Castle County paramedics at 7:35 a.m.
Police said they are still investigating and asked anyone with tips to submit them through Delaware Crime Stoppers, which offers rewards, at 800-847-3333 or www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com. Tips may be made anonymously.
