EDGEMOOR, DELAWARE (4/17/2017) A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in Edgemoor on Sunday night, New Castle County police said this morning.
The shooting happened about 10:55 p.m. in the first block of S. Pennewell Drive.
The victim was given first aid at the scene and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
According to reports from the scene, the boy was wounded in the shoulder.
Police described his wounds as not life-threatening.
