GLASGOW, DELAWARE (9/12/2016) A 33-year-old woman was critically injured early today in a fall off a motorcycle, authorities said.
The incident was reported at 1:22 a.m. at Route 896 (South College Avenue) and Old Baltimore Pike.
The injured woman was a passenger on the motorcycle when she became separated from it, said Sgt. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
She was treated for head and arm injuries and a possible spinal injury, Haas said, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
The driver of the bike wAs not injured.
Delaware State Police are investigating.
