HOUSTON, DELAWARE (8/16/2016) Three people were arrested Monday night and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine at a home south of Houston, the Delaware State Police said today.
State police detectives and probation officers went to search the home in the 2000 block of Williamsville Road about 8 p.m. as part of an ongoing investigation, police said.
Detectives found equipment and component mixtures of the manufacturing stages of meth along with key ingredients for making the drug, police said, as well as 1.09 grams of methamphetamine.
Brian L. McGinnis, 30, Barry D. Lituski, 58, and Linda A. Walsh, 52, all residents of the home, were taken into custody and charged with operating a clandestine laboratory and second-degree conspiracy.
McGinnis also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held at Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna in lieu of $12,700 secured bond.
Lituski was being held at Vaughn in lieu of $2,500 secured bond.
Walsh was released on $3,000 unsecured bond.
Police said no evacuations were ordered as there was no immediate threat to nearby homes.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control also responded to assist with the search and handle combustible items.
