Power out after trash truck topples poles, wires in Talleyville

TALLEYVILLE, DELAWARE (8/15/2016) Electric power went out in the Sharpley Road area this morning after a Waste Management trash truck brought down utility wires and poles, according to reports from the scene.

The incident happened about 10:30 a.m. and crews remained on the scene in early afternoon making repairs.

Delmarva Power reported about two dozen customers with out service at 1:10 p.m., with restoration of service expected by 2 p.m.
