NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (7/23/2016) Gunfire rang out in three communities near New Castle on Friday night, New Castle County police said this afternoon.
The shooting was reported about 8 p.m. in the first block of Thorn Lane in Rosegate, the first block of Parker Place in Simonds Gardens, and the 100 block of Central Avenue in Holloway Terrace.
Officers investigating found evidence indicating more than 30 rounds had been fired, Sgt. Tom Jackson said.
“There is limited suspect information at this time,” he said.
