Crash scene on Route 1 at Frederica (Photo: DELDOT traffic cam)FREDERICA, DELAWARE (7/23/2016) Route 1 (Bay Road) has reopened after a crash with multiple injuries that closed the highway in both directions for more than an hour this afternoon.
The crash was at the twin bridges over the Murderkill River, according to reports from the scene.
The wreck happened about 1 p.m.
Emergency crews were on the scene.
