DELAWARE CITY, DELAWARE (4/24/2016) Four people were injured in a crash involving several vehicles on northbound Route 1 near Delaware City this morning, according to reports from the scene.
The crash was reported at 11:47 a.m. near the School House Road overpass, with one person trapped in a vehicle.
One of the vehicles involved was pulling a trailer.
Two of the injuries were reported to be serious and two were minor. One of the injured was flown to a hospital by helicopter.
Northbound Route 1 was closed in the area, with a 10-mile backup reported.
