DELAWARE (3/28/2016) Wind gusts up to 50 mph may hit Delaware late this afternoon and this evening, the National Weather Service says.
The gusts could make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles, and could down tree limbs and power lines.
Sustained winds of 20-30 mph from the west are predicted.
The strongest wind is expected this evening.
The weather service suggests securing lightweight outdoor items such as garbage cans and lawn furniture.
The service issued a wind advisory from 2 this afternoon until midnight.
Light rain is expected to continue this morning with skies clearing by tonight. Today’s high will be near 60.
