DOVER, DELAWARE (2/26/2016) A 23-year-old man who was shot to death late Thursday in the Capitol Park neighborhood near Dover was identified this afternoon by Delaware State Police.
An autopsy by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and the death was ruled homicide.
The victim, Jason E. Mills of Dover, was taken by private vehicle to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital about 11 p.m., where he died.
Dover and state police determined the shooting had happened in Capitol Park, which is outside city limits and in state police jurisdiction. Detectives found shell casings in a yard in the 200 block of S. Governors Blvd.
