ELSMERE, DELAWARE (12/25/2015) A crash involving two minivans sent one driver to a hospital late Christmas Eve, authorities said.
The accident was reported at 10:36 p.m. on Kirkwood Highway at DuPont Road.
A 57-year-old woman driving one of the minivans was treated for a possible lower extremity injury, possible internal injury and scrapes, said Sgt. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics. The woman was taken by paramedics to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition.
No injuries were reported for the occupants of the second vehicle.
Elsmere police were investigating the crash.
Elsmere, Christiana and Wilmington Manor fire companies responded.
