PIKE CREEK, DELAWARE (12/22/2015) A 52-year-old man struck by a vehicle Monday night was in serious but stable condition, authorities said.
The accident happened about 7:45 p.m. in the first block of Meadowood Drive.
The victim was treated for a head injury and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said Sgt. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
New Castle County police are investigating.
Mill Creek and Cranston Heights fire companies also responded.
