BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (11/26/2015) Surveillance images from a gas station burglary in Brandywine Hundred were released Wednesday by Delaware State Police.

The burglary at Maier’s Shell, 1622 Marsh Road, happened about 3:20 a.m. Sunday.

The thief arrived in a car, got out the passenger door and damaged a sliding glass window to enter the business, police said.

He attempted to pry open the cash register but was unsuccessful and fled empty-handed in the car.

He was described as white, 20-30 years old, about 5-feet-11 and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.
