BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (11/19/2015) A 17-year-old boy has been charged with damaging multiple homes and vehicles with a BB gun earlier this week, New Castle County police said this morning. Another person is still being sought.

The teen, whose name was not released, was arrested after at least 15 residents in the Dartmouth Woods and Chalfonte communities reported damage on Monday along  Ramblewood Drive, Brandywood Drive, Sturbridge Drive, Berwyn Road, Raven Road, Landon Drive, Breeze Point Drive and other streets.

Witness reports led to the arrest of the boy in a vehicle at the parking lot of a business near U.S. 202 (Concord Pike) by Officer N. Sexton and other county units. Delaware State Police also assisted in the arrest.

The boy, who police said lives in Brandywine Hundred, was charged with 24 counts of criminal mischief and released to the custody of his parents. He also was ordered to have no contact with the victims or their communities.

Officer First Class Tom Jackson, a police spokesman, asked anyone with information on a second male involved to contact Sexton at 302-395-8100, 302-573-2800 or NSexton@nccde.org .
