WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/8/2015) Three people were injured, two of them critically, when a car hit a pole in Wilmington this evening.
The crash happened about 9:45 p.m. in the 700 block of Maryland Ave.
The three victims were trapped in the wreckage until they were extricated by Wilmington firefighters.
Police at the scene said two were in critical condition and the third was stable.
Maryland Avenue was closed from Beech to Oak streets.
