WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/2/2015) An elderly woman was seriously burned while melting was in Wilmington this afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. in the 2700 block of W. Fourth St.
The woman suffered second- and third-degree burns on her upper torso and was taken by ambulance the the burn unit at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa.
The Wilmington Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
