Police release name of man charged after car struck home

NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (10/20/2015) New Castle County police today released the name of the 32-year-old man charged with driving under the influence and other counts after a car struck a home in the Chelsea Estates community near New Castle.

The crash happened about 11:15 p.m. Sunday in the first block of Paul Road.

The driver was identified as Corron Moon, of the 100 block of Rita Road in Chelsea Estates.

Cpl. Tracey Duffey said the home struck by Moon remains uninhabitable.

Police said Moon fled the scene on foot but he was arrested later on Rita Road.
