MILL CREEK, DELAWARE (10/13/2015) A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured Tuesday when her vehicle collided with a pole in the 3000 block of Stoney Batter Road, authorities said.
The accident was reported at 1:42 p.m.
New Castle County paramedics treated the woman, who was still in the vehicle when they arrived, for upper extremity and possible chest injuries before she was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said paramedics Cpl. Abigail E. Haas said
New Castle County police investigated the accident.
Mill Creek and Hockessin fire companies also responded.
