NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (10/6/2015) The body of a woman was found in the parking lot at Airport Plaza in New Castle this morning, according to city police.
The body was found on the ground between the New Castle Farmer’s Market and the BJ’s Wholesale Club store, off U.S. 13 near Hares Corner, about 6 a.m.
City of New Castle police are investigating the death, and New Castle County police also were on the scene.
Senior Lt. Adam P. Brams said the victim appeared to be in her early 20s and police are trying to identify her.
