UPDATED STORY: Hundreds without power after nor’easter
DOVER, DELAWARE (10/2/2015) Route 1 is closed in both directions between Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach due to high water, Delaware Department of Transportation officials announced late this afternoon.
The closure includes the Cullen Bridge over Indian River Inlet.
DelDOT’s detour is via Route 26, U.S. 113 and Route 24.
