UPDATED STORY: Police ID two killed in head-on crash
LAUREL, DELAWARE (9/15/2015) Two people died tonight and a third person was seriously injured in a crash east of Laurel, according to Delaware State Police.
The accident happened about 8:25 p.m.on Laurel Road (Route 24) just west of Jestice Farm Road.
State police are on the scene investigating and Route 24 is closd between Jestice Farm and Hitch Pond roads.
Motorists should seek alternate routes for the next several hours, police said about 10 p.m.
Other details on the crash will be released Tuesday morning, police said.
