Lancaster Pike, Route 41 closures this week for paving

HOCKESSIN, DELAWARE (8/18/2015) Sections of Lancaster Pike (Route 48) in Hockessin will be closed today, Thursday and Friday, and a Route 41 closure is planned for Wednesday, to allow for paving near the intersection of the two roads, according to the Delaware Department of Transportation.

Lancaster Pike will be closed at the intersection today, with traffic detoured via Newport Gap Pike (Route 41) and Hercules Road.

On Wednesday, Route 41 will be closed, with the detour via Lancaster Pike and Hercules Road.

On Thursday and Friday, Lancaster Pike will be closed between Route 41 and Hercules Road. Detour is via Route 41 and Hercules Road.

Businesses and residents will have access at all times, DelDOT says.

Contractor for the work is Greggo & Ferrara.
