CLAYMONT, DELAWARE (8/13/2015) Classes began today for grades 1-5 at Maple Lane Elementary in Claymont.
Friday is the first full day for kindergarten at the school, which is in the Brandywine district and traditionally one of the earliest starts.
The school favors “balanced calendar” scheduling with a shorter summer break and smaller breaks throughout the year.
