NEWARK, DELAWARE (7/5/2015) A 20-year-old man died early today after falling off a deck in the first block of E. Park Place, Newark police said.
The man was socializing with friends about 5 a.m. when he fell off the back deck and struck his head, Cpl. James Spadola said.
The man was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are investigating but no foul play is suspected, Spadola said.
The body was turned over to the Division of Forensic Science.
Spadola said the victim was not a University of Delaware student but no other information was released.
