Pizza Hut robbed on U.S. 40 in Bear

BEAR, DELAWARE (5/25/2015) A Pizza Hut restaurant in Bear was robbed at gunpoint late Wednesday, Delaware State Police said this morning. It was the second time this year the restaurant was robbed.

The robbery happened about 10:15 p.m. at 1837 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40), in the Sunset Station shopping center.

The masked robber confronted three male employees as they were getting ready to close the store and demanded cash from the register, police said.

After they turned over cash, the robber fled. No one was injured.

The gunman was described as a black male, about 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-10 and 160-175 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
