
EDGEMOOR, DELAWARE (6/9/2015) A prison inmate escaped from a work crew north of Edgemoor this morning, the Department of Correction reported.
Isaiah Thompson, 25, of Wilmington, a work release offender assigned to Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington, fled the work crew in the area of Gov. Printz Boulevard and Cauffiel Parkway.
Thompson is serving a work release sentence for an attempted carjacking conviction, said Department of Correction spokesman Jason Miller.
He is described as 5-feet-8, 175 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his chest.
