LAUREL, DELAWARE (4/27/2015) The death of a 3-year-old girl in Laurel has been ruled a homicide, Delaware State Police said this afternoon.
Authorities were notified about 7:15 p.m. Friday that CPR was in progress on the girl in the 900 block of Daniel St. in Carvel Gardens.
Laurel police and fire departments were dispatched as well as Sussex County paramedics, and state police were called in to investigate.
An autopsy was performed by the Division of Forensic Sciences.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and no other information is being released.
