NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (4/21/2015) A 20-year-old Wilmington man has been charged in the rape of a 9-year-old New Castle girl, police said today.

Paulron K. Clark, of the 1600 block of Coleman St., was charged with first-degree rape and two counts of unlawful sexual contact with a person under 13.

Senior Lt. Adam P. Brams of New Castle police said the charges stem from incidents in January and February at a home in the first block of Jacquette Drive.

He said police began investigating March 3 when the victim told her mother of the incidents.

Brams said Clark is a former family acquaintance of the victim.

Clark was being held at Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington in lieu of $100,000 cash bond.
