MILFORD, DELAWARE (4/20/2015) A 26-year-old Milford man has been charged with assaulting a woman in what city police termed a domestic dispute.
The incident happened about 11 a.m. April 11 in the double-digit block of St. Walnut St., Detective Dwight Young said.
Tyrell Beckett, 26, broke into the residence of a 35-year-old woman through a window after climbing up a fire escape, Young said.
He said Beckett and the woman argued and Beckett grabbed her by her hair, struck her in the face and kicked her in the stomach.
The woman suffered minor injuries to her face, Young said.
Beckett was arrested April 13. He was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution near Georgetown in lieu of $21,050 bond.
