BELVEDERE, DELAWARE (4/17/2015) A tractor-trailer attempting a U-turn in the 1500 block of Newport Gap Pike became stuck in soft dirt, blocking all lanes of the roadway, according to reports from the scene.
The incident happened about 1:30 p.m. and crews were still working to remove the truck about an hour later.
The trailer was reportedly carrying a load of municpial waste.
No injuries were reported.
The road is closed between Old Capitol Trail and Liberty Road.
