MARSHALLTON, DELAWARE (4/14/2015) Two Delcastle Technical High School students were injured this morning when their pickup truck overturned and struck and snapped a utility pole, according to reports from the scene.
The accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. in the 1700 block of Newport Road.
The pole and wires were down in the roadway, closing Newport Road from Old Capitol Trail to the high school.
The two students were taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to reports from the scene.
New Castle County police are investigating the crash.
