WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (4/6/2015) City police are asking for tips from the public after gunfire struck two homes.
In the latest incident, the city’s gunfire alert system brought officers to the 700 block of E. 22nd St. at 4:13 a.m. Officers found a home that had been struck but no one was reported injured.
Just before 3 p.m. Saturday, a report of shots fired brought officers tot he 600 block of W. 27th St. A home in the block was found to have been struck by gunfire but there was no report of injuries, police said.
