UPDATED STORY: Male shooting victim dies
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (04/04/2015) Two people were wounded by gunfire this afternoon in Wilmington, and two suspects were captured by police after a pursuit up Interstate 95 into Pennsylvania, according to reports from the scene.
The shooting, with multiple shots fired, happened about 6:30 p.m. in an alleyway off the 200 block of Monroe St., a residential area behind the Adams Four shopping center.
A male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. A female victim was shot in the leg.
Police chased the suspects across the state line to MacDade Boulevard in the Folsom area, where the suspects’ vehicle reportedly crashed into another.
Police recovered a weapon that apparently was thrown out of the suspects’ vehicle along I-95 near Highland Avenue.
