Wilmington fugitive captured near New Castle

Wilmington police logoNEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (3/24/2015) A fugitive was captured near New Castle on Monday night by a U.S. Marshal’s task force, Wilmington police reported this morning.

The arrest of Ross Mason, 31, of Wilmington, came about 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Castlebrook Apartments off U.S. 13.

Mason was wanted by Wilmington police on warrants in several domestic incidents involving a woman in the past two months.

He was charged with terroristic threatening, harassment, strangulation, unlawful imprisonment, assault and offensive touching.

Mason was being held at Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $17,000 cash bail.
