NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (1/8/2015) A clothing store near New Castle was robbed at gunpoint by two masked men Wednesday night, state police reported today.
The robbery happened about 8:20 p.m. at Villa Clothing Store in the Penn Mart Shopping Center, at the Route 141 and U.S. 13 junction.
After confronting a man working at the store and getting cash from the register, the two ran off toward the rear of the store.
The 38-year-old employee was not injured.
One robber, carrying a handgun, was described as 5-feet-11 to 6-feet-1 and 140-160 pounds. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and white sneakers.
The other was 5-feet-10 to 5-feet-11 and 140-160 pounds. He wore a black sweatshirt and black sneakers.
