Bicycle, police car collide in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/30/2014) A juvenile bicyclist was reported taken to a hospital with minor injuries this afternoon following a collision with a city police car in Wilmington.

The crash of the marked patrol car was reported at 1:38 p.m. at Vandever Avenue and Church Street.

Police, still investigating the collision, say the patrol car was responding to an emergency call. The officer involved was not identified.

Police say the injured bicyclist is in stable condition.
