4 hurt in crash on I-495 at I-95

NEWPORT, DELAWARE (12/30/2014) Four people were injured Monday evening in a rollover crash on southbound I-495 at the I-95 junction south of Wilmington, authorities said.

The accident happened about 5:45 p.m.

Paramedics treated a 43-year-old woman on the scene for a neck injury. She was then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in serious condition, said Cpl. Abigail Haas, spokeswoman for New Castle County paramedics.

The three others had minor injuries, Haas said. Two were taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington and one to Christiana.

State police are investigating the crash.
