ST. GEORGES, DELAWARE (12/27/2014) A 30-year-old man was seriously injured today when he crashed into the side of a shed while riding a dirt bike, authorities said.
The accident happened about 2 p.m. in the first block of Carrington Court in the Colton Meadow community.
The man was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, said Cpl. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
Haas said the man had arm injuries, scrapes and possible internal injuries.
County police are investigating.
Delaware City Fire Company also responded.
