Elsmere police arrest drug suspect in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/22/2014) Elsmere police say a six-month investigation led to the arrest of a 24-year-old man on drug charges in Wilmington on Sunday.

Andre A. Corbitt was arrested at a home in the 2600 block of Speakman Place, Police Chief Laura Giles said.

Giles said officers seized 467 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 442 grams of marijuana, a small amount of Dabs (a form of high grade hash usually made with a process involving butane), candy containing hash and $5,705 cash.

Corbitt was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 5 quantity, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 1 quantity, Maintaining a Drug Property, Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on $8,000 unsecured bail.
