Restaurant, two 7-Eleven stores robbed

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, DELAWARE (12/19/2014) A restaurant and two convenience stores were robbed a span of less than four hours, state police say.

The first robbery, at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, happened at the Tung Hsing House Restaurant, 505 E. Basin Road (Route 141) near New Castle.

The robber, holding a handgun, demanded cash from a 32-year-old clerk and he complied, turning over money from the register. The robber was last seen running behind the restaurant. No one was injured.

The robber was 5-feet-11 to 6-feet-2, weighing 170-190 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black shoes.

About 12:30 a.m. Thursday, four male robbers escaped with cash from a 7-Eleven store at 1700 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40) in Bear. The 51-year-old male clerk was not injured. No weapon was seen.

One robber was 16-20 years old, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 and 200-220 pounds. He was  wearing a blue hooded jacket, black hat and grey pants.

The second was 16-20 years old, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 and 200-220 pounds. He was wearing  a blue hat, black jacket, grey pants and had a bandanna covering part of his face.

The third was 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8 and 150-170 pounds. He was wearing a white and blue jacket, tan pants, and had a white bandanna covering part of his face.

The fourth was 16-20 years old, 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8 and 150-170 pounds. He was wearing an aqua hooded sweatshirt, grey knit hat and grey pants.

About 25 minutes after this robbery, a 7-Eleven store was robbed at 5601 Kirkwood Highway in Milltown. Police said three males, implying they were armed, confronted a 46-year-old male clerk, who complied with their demand for money from the register. The clerk was not injured.

One robber was 6-feet-2 to 6-feet-3, 225-240 pounds and was wearing gray sweatpants and a black jacket.

The second was 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 and 150-170 pounds. He was wearing gray sweatpants and a blue jacket.

The third was 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 and 150-170 lbs. He was wearing cream colored pants and a black jacket.
