WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/15/2014) Inspections of the I-95 viaduct at the south end of Wilmington will cause lane closures on the highway through Monday, according to DelDOT.
Contractor Pennoni Associates Inc. will be completing routine bridge inspections and deck testing.
DelDOT says bridge personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and lane shifts are anticIpated.
OVERNIGHT
The following lane closures will take place from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.:
Monday, December 15: Closure of the left lane on I-95 southbound between Exit 6 and Frawley Stadium.
Tuesday, December 16: Closure of the two right lanes on I-95 northbound between I-495 and Exit 6. Exit 6 will remain open at all times during the closure.
Wednesday, December 17: Closure of the right lane on I-95 northbound between Exit 6 and Exit 7.
Thursday, December 18: Closure of the left lane on I-95 northbound between Exit 6 and Exit 7.
Sunday, December 21: Closure of the left lane on I-95 northbound between Exit 6 and Exit 7.
Monday, December 22: Closure of the two right lanes on I-95 northbound between I-495 and Exit 6. Exit 6 will remain open at all times during the closure.
Tuesday, December 23: Closure of the two right lanes on I-95 southbound between Frawley Stadium and I-295 and single right lane closure on I-95 northbound between I-495 and Exit 6.

The following closures will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.in Wilmington:
Wednesday, December 17: Local lane closures on Maryland Avenue between South Jackson Street and South Monroe Street.
Friday, December 19: Local lane closures on North Madison Street between 2nd Street and Lancaster Avenue.
Monday, December 22: Local lane closures on South Monroe Street between 2nd Street and Lancaster Avenue.
