NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (12/15/2014) A masked man with a handgun robbed a gas station near New Castle, state police reported Monday.
The crime happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday at the Super Fuel Gas Station, 3006 New Castle Avenue (Route 9).
The robber confronted a clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the robber fled with cash.
The clerk, a 22-year-old man, was not injured.
The robber was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
