ELSMERE, DELAWARE (12/12/2014) A suspect in a double shooting was arrested and 4,000 bags of heroin
seized from his home early today, Elsmere police said..
Town police and a Wilmington SWAT team arrested Reynaldo L. Diaz, 24. at his home in the first block of Court Drive in the Lancaster Court Apartments, off Lancaster Pike west of Wilmington.
He is charged with attempted murder and related counts in connection with a shooting Sept. 15 in the 2100 block of Seneca Road in Elsmere.
Diaz also faces drug charges on the heroin and cocaine seized from his home, police said.
He is being held at Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $456,300 cash bail, according to Elsmere Police Chief Laura Giles.
