DOVER, DELAWARE (12/8/2014) A 39-year-old Dover man was charged with first-degree rape over the weekend, city police reported today.
The incident happened at a home on Chelsea Way while the victim, a 29-year-old woman, was highly intoxicated, police said.
Jenon McPhatter of Dover had sexual intercourse with the woman while she was unconscious and without her consent, police said.
He was being held at Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $50,000 cash bond, Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
