Rain today, Saturday; nor’easter threatens next

DELAWARE (12/5/2014) Rain beginning later today across the state will continue through Saturday with blustery winds following on Sunday, forecasters say.

Minor tidal flooding is possible along the oceanfront on Sunday, with more tidal flooding possible Monday and Tuesday as a nor’easter develops off the coast.

While forecasters at the National Weather Service say there is still uncertainty on the track of this storm, it could bring stronger winds and heavier rain, mostly likely Monday night into Tuesday night.

Today’s high will be about 43 degrees upstate and around 50 downstate.
